Introduction to Rock Climbing
Are you completely new to rock climbing and fancy giving it a go? Or maybe you’ve climbed indoors before but want to make the move to real rock? Get in touch and I can take you out and show you the ropes!

Learn to Lead
Seeking out professional instruction when you are ready to take your first steps on the sharp end of the rope is highly recommended! If you only hire a climbing instructor at one stage in your climbing career this is the time to do it!
Learn the skills required to climb safely and efficiently on traditionally placed climbing protection.
This training requires 2 people. You don’t both have to want to learn to lead but if you both do that will also work.
Skill covered can include placing traditional protection (nuts/wires, hexes, cams), climbing with one or two ropes, building belays, stance management, belaying from above and below, psychological strategies for leading, problem solving, abseiling, single-pitch/multi-pitch.
